Statement

A hand-cut bible where every occurrence of the word "God" is removed and collected. The work considers the question, "What would the Bible become without the presence of God?" Carefully retaining each cut-out as a precious token and storing it in its own receptacle, this cynical attempt to remove God from the Bible resulted in a meditation where searching for God became a daily ritual until the project was concluded.
