Statement

Imagining Matriarchy envisions what a matriarchal society might feel like. Believing that this world would be so vastly different from the one we know, the works in this exhibition exist only as abstractions. They attempt to capture an intense, complex and unapologetic feminine energy that might permeate an alternate reality where women hold the power.
